Our Congregation

The church at Waynesville is comprised of honest, dedicated and faithful followers of Christ and his commands. Our congregation ranges in age from pre-schoolers to those who have made their livings and have since retired.

We come from many backgrounds, but have a common thread, that is the cord of Christianity. Each of us work in some way or another to maintain and try to spread the words of the Bible’s New Testament. We do not try to re-interpret the scriptures, nor do we seek the doctrines of men.

Our Speakers

Abe Martin III

Abe Martin III

Abe Martin is the son of a very talented Gospel preacher, his father Abe Martin the II. Abe is well educated in scripture and has an excellent understanding of God’s Word and how it applies to man. Whether by sermon or by study, Abe’s love for the church and the Bible is clearly visible. If you have a question on salvation, the role of a Christian, what we should and should not be doing in our lives, Abe knows the place to find the answers in the Bible. If he can’t answer your question, he will help you find it – together.

Abe had previously worked with the congregation at Bath Road in Huber Heights. They now have a home just outside of Waynesville. They usually have Bible studies at their house on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome, but check with Abe to be sure of meeting times.

You can e-mail Abe at abe@waynesvillecoc.com if you have any questions.

Roger Starnes

Roger Starnes

Roger Starnes has been a member of the church at Waynesville since 1998. While a student in the subject of speaking and teaching, Roger tries to provide informative studies of God’s Word by taking a personal look at God, His will, and how we humans need to grow before Him.

Our Members

Many of our members have lived and been raised here in the Waynesville, Ohio area. Others moved to the area and began attending after leaving other area congregations. We are from as far east as Wilmington, to Lebanon southward, to all around Waynesville. All are active in the Waynesville community and do a good bit of their work to help support the village.
